THERAPEUTIC APPLICATIONS

·Nervous System: The main medicinal effect of cannabis is its anti-depressive and sedative properties, that is why the use of Cannabis against anxiety, insomnia or depression is recommended with similar indications to opiates. Its use in other psychiatric affections must be limited to a strict knowledge of the drug properties, it could increase and aggravate the manic process. The discreet doses can exert a stimulating effect of the nervous system, at least during the first two hours (depending on the CBD content); later one could appear in a state of drowsiness. The abstinence phenomenas are lighter than plants like opium and cocaine.
